The entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command…
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”
– Galatians 5:14
Take care of the tree before you attempt to give another the fruit from it. It’s a pretty simple concept really, yet complicated as well because I AM the tree planted by God. To love others as myself is a 2-part process and one simply doesn’t work without the other. How can I give someone oranges when I only have apples? Likewise, how can I give someone love without first BECOMING LOVE? There lies the secret to dead works.
The beginning of each day must start here. If there is no ME, then there is nothing at all – from my perspective at least. I must first exist before I can see, hear, perceive, feel or experience this day. And without embodying the ME that God chose to create, I am simply unable to give anything GOOD to anything outside of ME that he also chose to create.
I LOVE ME BECAUSE GOD CHOSE TO LOVE ME FIRST. HE SAYS I’M WONDERFULLY AND FEARFULLY MADE, I’M SAFE AND I’M FREE BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. HE GIFTED ME LIFE AND I’M THANKFUL FOR ME BECAUSE I AM WALKING IN THE GIFT OF LIFE HE GIVES. HOW CAN I LOVE MYSELF DEEPER TODAY?
